Workshop Punch-Needle

Join us at Redhead Days Festival for a creative workshop on punch-needle! During this workshop (ages 12 and up) you will discover the art of punch-needle, a technique that uses a special needle to create designs on fabric. During the workshop, you will be provided with all the necessary materials and tools, as well as step-by-step instructions. Whether you're a beginner or have previous experience, this workshop is a fun and engaging way to express your creativity and meet fellow redheads.

Workshop Paint Your Own T-Shirt
Saturday 1pm & 3pm & Sunday 1pm
Paint your own T-Shirt - Workshop for kids including a blank shirt, limited so make sure to book your spot!
DIY Redhead Days logo shirt, for all your craft monsters. This workshop includes a shirt, paint, design and at least half an hour of entertainment for your kid

Create a Mandala
Saturday 2pm & Sunday 3pm
Discover the harmony of color and music in our Mandala Workshop! Get inspired by your favorite rock musician and create a beautiful mandala using the iconic colors of their style. Whether it's the legendary red-yellow-green hues of a reggae band or the wild shades of a rock star with a yarmulke, like Bob Marley, this workshop blends creativity with musical passion. Unleash your inner artist and give your mandala its own rock 'n' roll twist!

Make your own Buttons and Mirrors
Saturday 12pm-5pm
Want to make and design your own button, mirror or magnet? Join us on Saturday in the children's activity tent. Not just for kids!
Choose a nice pattern or picture and we will help you make your own personalised button, mirror or magnet!

Action Painting by Bart
Saturday 12pm
The Action Painting workshop is a unique experience where participants can express their creativity through expressive and impulsive movements with paint. The participants are given disposable overalls, including gloves and shoe protectors, so that it is no problem to get wild with the paint. Action Painting is suitable for both beginners and advanced students and offers participants the opportunity to discover Action Painting. Participation is at your own risk 😊

Floral Crown
Saturday 12pm, 1pm, 3pm & Sunday 11am, 1pm
Do you often wonder when you walk into a flower shop: "How lovely would it be to be a florist?". If so: this is your chance!
On both Saturday and Sunday florist Conchetta will give a workshop on making a crown made out of real flowers. This workshop is suitable for all ages. Fun guaranteed!

Composing Redhead Days song
Saturday & Sunday (Time: TBA)
Participate in the making of “The Redhead Days Song” under the guidance of musician/composer James Andersson. A workshop in which you will learn the basics of music composition, music theory, harmony, rhythm and structure. Using your own instrument. So don't forget to take it with you! During the festival you will create/compose 'The Redhead Days song' with other participants, which will be performed on Sunday.

3D Drawing

Step into the fascinating world of 3D drawing with our intensive workshop! In our first session, we dive straight into the basics of 3D drawing, teaching you how to create stunning 3D artwork. With practical tips and guidance from experienced artists, you'll be amazed at what you can achieve in just one class. Unleash your creativity and get ready to take your artistic skills to the next level!

Conversation about Redheads
Saturday 2pm & 4pm
Jacky Colliss Harvey, author of RED: A History of the Redhead, and Rosanne Coetsier, host of the 'Rossistische' podcast, will be in conversation at Redhead Days this year!
They are very keen to hear from you, and will be looking for questions to debate and discuss on the Redhead Days. Do let us know what the burning issues of redheadedness are for you and all the most fascinating redhead mysteries that have caught your eye, and we will do our best to answer them!

Create geometric wooden artwork
Saturday 1pm, 3pm & Sunday 1pm, 3pm
Thomas Nikolaas, a dedicated artist specialised in geometric art, will lead a fascinating workshop during the Redhead Days. With his expert guidance, participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of geometric art and to create small wooden artworks under the guidance of Thomas.

Skincare
Saturday 12pm - 5pm
Redheads often have unique skin that is sensitive and prone to redness and can react quickly to environmental factors, stress and certain cosmetics. This can lead to irritation and discomfort. Understanding and caring for these skin types is essential to keep the skin healthy and radiant.
Dorothe is a specialist in natural skin care for sensitive skin, among other things, and provides skin advice. Come visit Skinperfection for questions about your skin.
